Lachlan Smith

Lachlan practices primarily in criminal and traffic law as well as domestic violence matters.

Lachlan is passionate about protecting the rights of people facing the criminal justice system. He understands the difference a skilled lawyer can make in court matters and strives to deliver exceptional services to all clients.

Lachlan’s extensive experience working in the criminal justice system allows him to identify legal issues and help clients understand their court matters.

Lachlan has honed his legal skills while working in QLD courts for over 9 years prior to his admission as a lawyer and while he was appointed as an associate to His Honour Judge Lynch KC.

These experiences have given Lachlan an in-depth understanding of courts practices and allowed him to assist clients navigate the court system with ease.

Lachlan obtained a Bachelor of Law with distinction from the University of Southern Queensland in 2023 and was admitted in the Supreme Court as a legal practitioner in the same year. Lachlan commenced at Bouchier Khan Lawyers in 2024.

In his free time Lachlan enjoys camping, participating in team sports and spending time with his rescue greyhound.
